September 23, 2017 Native American Living History Immersion Experience: Day Program

Join us for a day of Native American cultural immersion near the Santa Fe Trail on Saturday September 23 from 8:30am-4:30pm. Example activities: Learn how to put up and take down a tipi canvas, make a traditional choker, story telling, play a Native American historical game, walk to Turtle Head Rock, experience the healing strength of the 'Wakia Tree" (lightening tree), discover how to live alongside wildlife and utilize Native American tools. Bring your lunch and water bottle. A snack and Navajo Tea/water are provided. This event is rain or shine.**Dress for the weather. MUST wear ankle high hiking boots of leather or Cordura nylon with no open toe/heel. **    Snake gaiters provided. No refunds. We are a tobacco, alcohol, firearm, and cannabis free zone.
